Our Ensuite Bathrooms are spacious and well appointed, with open plan showers ( no doors ) for your comfort. Our Rooms offer designated space for you to sit and use your laptop if need be with unlimited WI FI available. Rooms are fully air-conditioned, and contain ceiling fans, extractor fans in the ensuites also all windows are screened for fresh air comfort. We are situated off the main highway ( but still right in town ) so highway noise and pollution are not a problem here.
Verandah Motel is well placed for hospital visits or similar requirements, within walking distance to some of these facilities, and our wheelchair friendly suite has been designed with this situation in mind.
In your room you will find a detailed location and “ what to do “ for the Gympie Region. You will find the area a unique and very special place to visit or holiday. We are bordered by the Sunshine Coast and Noosa to the south and amazing Fraser Island to the North, also we are part of the Great Sandy Biosphere which is recognised by UNESCO.
The lovely rolling hills of the Mary Valley with its delightful rocky streams make for a wonderful driving opportunity, also an abundance of market towns to visit, each with their own personality can give visitors to the area a relaxing holiday experience. Not forgetting the water wonderlands of Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach also a short drive from here.
